Publishing 2D codes

Take advantage of what you already have.

One of the huge benefits of 2D barcodes is that they can be inserted into what you're already using. They can make any physical object interactive - magazines, posters, signage, web sites, television displays, t-shirts, tattoos ... you can put a code anywhere you like. Yup, anywhere.

Just use the digital file you downloaded from ScanLife as a jpeg or bmp file and put it on anything. An 2D code can be as small as half inch and as big as you want. The bigger it is, the further away it can be scanned.

An 2D code can be as small as
a dime.
Or as big as you want.

There needs to be sufficient contrast between the 2D code color and the background color for the codes to be read. We strongly recommend using any combination of black and white, as colors can reduce the chance of a successful scan.

Codes should have at least (2) "modules" (squares) of free space on all sides. The space should be the same as the background color.

Do not place any background images behind the code.
